Integrating Wordpress to MailerLite

To integrate your MailerLite account with Wordpress, go to the top right dropdown menu and choose "Integrations". Choose Wordpress and copy the account API key form the bottom of this page.

Now, log in to your Wordpress dashboard. Go to "Plugins" , "Add New" and search for MailerLite . Find “Official MailerLite Sign up Forms” and click the “Install” button. Click the same button one more time to activate.

Click on the MailerLite menu option to your left. Go to settings and paste in your MailerLite API key. There you go. You can now build popup forms with your MailerLite account and have them show up on any page of your website.

Creating a simple signup form is easy. Go to your WordPress dashboard and click "MailerLite Sign up Forms". Click "Add New". Make sure "Custom Signup Form" is selected and click "Create form". Give your form a name, a title, a description, a success message and any other detail you may need. Select the field you want your subscribers to use. Connect the form to the chosen MailerLite group. Click "Save" and go back to your list of forms.

To connect a form from your MailerLite account, first make sure you had already created an Embed Form in your MailerLite account. Then select “Form created using MailerLite (Embed and button)”. If you want to edit the form, you will have to do it from the MailerLite account. Click on “Create Form” and go back to your lists of forms.

To add the form to a post, create or open an existing post. Then, click the green MailerLite icon, choose you form and click “Add shortcode”. Now in this spot your readers will be able to sign up for your newsletter.

To add a form to your sidebar, click on appearance and widgets from the dashboard. Drag-and-drop your MailerLite signup form widget to your selected sidebar. Select your form and click save. That’s it!
